Our Lady Peace - Burn Burn (Deluxe Edition)

While I was working on writing the new parts of the site today, I was listening to the new cd from Our Lady Peace (OLP). I have always like them. OLP has a good solid rock sound. They do not follow the bandwagon of popular music and try to make a political statement with every song.

This Burn Burn is an excellent cd to have playing in the background while working. One does not need to try and decipher what is said and can hear their instruments well. It doesn't seem like there is much show boating from the band members, but there is a good guitar solo in track 5 - Escape Artist.

I have been listening to them since their second cd, clumsy. Upon listening to their older music and their newer music it is easy for me to say that their sound continues to evolve. Each song and cd does not sound the same. Way too often a band will start with a fantastic first cd and the rest will suffer or after a while it all sounds the same. So good job to OLP and keep it coming.
